Taken from a waterfall located in the Ngliman village, Nganjuk - East Java, Indonesia, the beauty of Sedudo lies at an altitude of 1,438 metres above sea level, with a drop of approximately 105 metres. The mixture of natural beauty, the swish of the wind, the melody of waterdrops, hills of greenery, the myths, and the rituals held in the place, bring curiosity to those who have a soul of adventure.
As a kid from Indonesia, I have always been interested in cultures, languages, and all the colourful traditional fashion that people wear. Every brush, every shape has its philosophy, to teach humans about life, as an appreciation of all aspects of nature. Have been living in 4 different countries in 3 continents for years, SE.DU.DO comes as a trip down the memory lane, back to my roots, that let you dive and soak in the richness of Southeast Asia, to explore the values and cultures, as well as craftsmanship that have been passed from generation to generation.

Giving back
We draw inspiration from Indonesia's biodiversity. Located between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, the country is blessed with unquestionably one of the most heavily forested places in the world.
It is believed there are more than 300,000 wildlife species or 17% of the world's wildlife live in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the vegetation of the archipelago comprises about 40,000 species of flowering plants and 3,000 species of trees.
We have an incurable love for natural materials, namely banana and pineapple leaves, seagrass, also water hyacinth materials that can be made into beautiful products. However, these eco-friendly materials do not get the appreciation it deserves.
Through SE.DU.DO we do not only make the comeback of indigenous materials but also to empower underprivileged community.
Whilst we are hesitant to brand ourselves as a social enterprise, SE.DU.DO was started out with a social idea, to establish a business with impact.
However, along the way, we realise sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We strive to make our business more impactful, more ethical, and socially conscious.
We donate some percentage of your purchase to Indonesia's local animal shelter and welfare because we believe in the beauty of sharing.
